The next two days were quite relaxing-- lounging on the beach by day and partying it up by night.

26 March : Polynesian Cultural Center

Day Trip to Polynesian Cultural Center

Trippin'.
PCC is a drive from Waikiki. On our way, we stopped by a shrimp shack for lunch which was amazing! Even though it rained on us, we had cultural lessons, participated in activities and watched shows followed by a luau and endless food and music. Love it!

23 - 25 March : Aloha Oahu

Catching zZzz in the 808

Trippin'.
It's always great fun when you travel with good friends. G had his first spray tan before Hawaii because he didn't want to be the whitest one there. It didn't go as planned which left him a two toned forehead and orange blotches on his hands and feet. We all had a good laugh.
Thanks to my good friend/ coworker Conrad, we got the best deal on our hotel-- on a popular street where all the bars and clubs are directly behind the Hyatt on Waikiki beach. The hotel was like a mini apartment with private room and kitchen included which is great for all the alcohol we stocked up. Probably the best part about the location-- Me BBQ was directly across the way. The boys practically ate here everyday; a small local joint with traditional Hawaiian BBQ and spam and eggs that cost next to nothing.
Hawaii was relaxing with days spent on the beach and nights out on the streets bar hopping. Carol, G and I had $30+ brunch at Orchids which was worth every penny. Just the view alone was a treat. For the evening, we capped it off with drinks at the famous Duke's bar.

Sleeping:
Pacific Monarch. All rooms are suite with private bedroom, living room and sofa bed and kitchenette. A block from Waikiki beach!
Eating: Me BBQ directly across the hotel. It's cheap affordable Hawaiian traditions such as spam and eggs, and of course, Hawaiian BBQ.
Activity: Shop the Ala Moana shopping center and enjoy a drink at the Mai Tai Bar.
