Bahamas in Boston

Trippin'.
G's in town for work so naturally I thought I'd drop in for an extended weekend in Boston. We stayed in a very old landmark boutique hotel which had an underground club at night. We went clubbing at night, but so not the same as home. However, a few drinks later, we had a blast and conveniently sauntered back upstairs for a good nights rest.
Boston is a very cute city and really gives you insight as to how things looked during the colonial period. We had the typical tourist weekend starting with the Boston Duck Tour-- a great way to see the main attractions. Spend the rest
of the day shopping and, of course, eating. When we returned to our hotel the first day, we had a surprised-- champagne and chocolate courtesy of G's work. Apparently, he has received the coveted All Stars 2007 Award, given to just a handful of top employees, and since he was in Boston, they sent champagne to congratulate him. As if that wasn't enough, the winners get a trip for two to.. the Bahamas! That's right, we're going to the Bahamas-- a week long at the Four Seasons on The Great Exumas with food, activities and all expenses paid for. It's times like this I am glad Gerard's a workaholic.
Back to Boston. Because Boston boast so much of our country's history, we decided to take a walking tour as well. Did you know that the picture on the Sam Adam's beer bottle is NOT Sam Adams?! They say he wasn't that attractive.
We had amazingly good food during our stay in Boston-- creamy clam chowder, fresh lobster rolls, silky smooth oysters. Ooh the oysters. There are foods that I like; foods that I love. And then there are obsessions, and I am obsessed with oysters. Boston certainly gave me my oysters fixin. Breakfast at The Paramount, lunch at East Coast Grill while on our way to Harvard, dinner at Giacomo's, and so much more. Truly we didn't have one bad meal.

Sleeping:
Copley Square. It has an underground nightclub!
Eating: Best clam chowder, not just in Boston, but possibly in the world-- Kingfish Hall.
Activity:
See Boston and bask in it's history by foot. Seek out a walking tour.
